Robert Lawrence 3rd Block 2/18/03 Persuasive Essay I think that they should put more limits on immigration. Americans lose their jobs to them. Too much money is spent on health care, education, border patrol, and equipment for them. Companies might have to lose employees because some immigrants lie about their citizenship. I also have a core Democratic values to back my reason up. This is all going to convince you to put more limits on immigration. My first reason is some Americans lose their jobs to immigrants. One of my evidence that support my reason is that they work for less wages than Americans do. In addition to that is mangers like paying less, so they can save money. My second piece of evidence is they work longer shift than Americans do and managers like paying less and they work longer at that to. Us Americans have lives and families to attend to, so we work how long we can. That is one of my reasons to put more limits on immigration. My second reasons to put more limits on immigration is we spend to much money on them.
