What was ultimately wrong with society in the Progressives view was not everyone was equal, some people had too much power and people were treated unjustly. The Progressives dealt with these issues several ways the passed laws, protested, and made acts or bills to solve a certain problem. They worked on monopolies, corruption, inefficiency, and social injustices. They were successful in these areas and many reforms were made to help people and the government had the power to regulate businesses. Monopolies were a big problem; businesses were taking over the economy and gaining too much power.
