The first track is the first movement of Jacques Ibert’s Concertino da Camera which is an allegro con moto. ... Throughout the whole movement Klock shows tremendous facility of his horn. ... The only criticism I can offer on this one is that every so often Lynn Klock’s vibrato drops his pitch slightly. ... I really like the control that Klock shows with his pianissimo introduction and equally soft altissimo. ... At the section in the middle where the piano cuts out and the saxophone plays what sounds like a cadenza, I feel like Klock could take a little more time and be much more expressive with the line. I really enjoy this concertino and I think Lynn Klock and Nadine Shank have great chemistry.
