Twelve Angry Men In 1954, Reginald Rose wrote his award winning play, entitled “Twelve Angry Men.” The first act begins with a trial and jurors voting on the outcome of the trial. In the second act one of the jurors starts convincing other jurors that the defendant is not guilty, while other jurors discriminate and profile the defendant. In the final act, the previously stated juror convinces the other jurors the defendant is innocent. “Twelve Angry Men” shows how people were treated unfairly in previous times. Some of the jury members was in a hurry to leave and voted guilty with the majority of jurors to speed the voting process. When a person commits selfish acts as this man did during the trial, it is not fair to the defendant and their case. The above juror should not have planned anything on a jury duty date, so that he could fully examine the case without any distractions.
