Saddlebreds are amazing horses. They are extremely versatile, with lots of personality. You can use them to do a varity of things. They can be your "back-yard" horse, or they can be a wonderful, brilliant show horse. The Saddlebred show horse is bred to be big and beautiful, with a kind eye. There are different divisions that are offered to show in. There is western, and in this division the horse needs to have a long pretty neck, and be able to maintain a jog. A jog is just a little faster than a walk. You are required in this division to show a walk, trot, and canter. There is also a division called hunt seat. In this your horse needs to have a low headset, and be able to step out more than step up.
