Jason Nelson English 101 Compare and Contrast Essay Shabba Ranks, a native to the dry arid desert of Kenya Africa belonged to a peaceful tribe known as the TenChu, which resides in the southwestern region. An avid hunter of the water buffalo, Shabba would often lead his tribesman vigorously across the open desert in search of their prey. He was a brave war chief amongst his brethren. Shabba’s complexion was a rich smooth mocha color. His stature was dominant and intimidating, he stood at seven feet two inches tall and his build was muscular. He had hair like jet-black wool, thick and nappy. His prominent features were his fearless almost black eyes, thick lips and the large mole on the side of his nose. When looking at him most thought that he was twenty years old, on the contrary, he was almost forty years of age.
