I sat there and stared at the computer screen. It was my third day doing this same thing, yet the screen still held it's virgin-like whiteness. I was required to write an essay for a scholarship, and my first thoughts were, "how difficult can this be?" Yet, after two days, the screen remained blank. I had started writing a piece about my experiences in the famed, September 11th terrorist attacks on World trade Centre, but then, I realized that I was just rambling on about who is to be blamed and furthermore, accusing the President of scapegoating. It's funny, I never thought I would become so politically charged. I told my roomate of my predicament, and she suggested I write about someone I know. Once again I sat before the seemingly taunting screen, brainstorming, trying to identify someone interesting enough to write about. I started writing about my father, Ben, but stopped after ten minutes.
