The Am-Po Lady Panthers will be going after there fourth championship in four years after an impressive win in overtime against the Rush Springs Lady Redskins. This was the second meeting between both these teams and both games have been decided by two points each. Each team had there star player Thursday night. The Lady Redskins were led by Jr. Kara McKay who had a team high 17 points, while The Lady Panthers were led by Sr. Jacqulin Jackson who had a game high 25 points plus six three pointers on the night. 30 of Am-Po’s 58 points came from behind the three point line Thursday night. The Lady Panthers started off hot going on a 11-0 run led by Jackson who hit three straight three’s. Defense played a key part for the Lady Panthers allowing only 9 points and several turnovers in the first quarter of play.
