Beethoven’s music has been held in high regards from the time of its creation until the present day. His music and ideas would continue to thrive throughout the romantic generation and even into Wagner and Brahms as many of these artists found Beethoven to be a significant influence. Through this strong influence on so many artists, Beethoven eventually became a legacy in the minds of many artists of following generations. Beethoven’s music had a very strong impact on many of the artists of the Romantic generation. The Romantic generation of artists was defined by their value of expression over the conventional rules of music.
