Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, in Hardin, Kentucky now known as Larue, Kentucky. Lincoln had a little sister named Sarah, he also had a little brother named Thomas but he died as an infant. ... Lincoln was our president during the Civil War. On April 14, 1865, Lincoln was going to a performance called Our American Cousin’s at Ford’s Theater in Washington. A few minutes after 10 o’ clock John Wilkes Booth shot President Lincoln in the head. Lincoln died 5 days later.
