Two skis attached to ones feet while going down a mountain blanketed in snow, that is skiing. It sounds like a simple sport and it can be simple if a skier stays on the runs that have been taken millions of times before but true skiing is going off the beaten track and skiing fresh powder and dropping thirty foot cliffs. Most people can’t fulfill the role as a true skier but they can work to become one and that is why skiing is so great because there is always something to improve on.
It all started in Colorado, where skiing is great, but in order to ski, you have to travel so far, and it is way too expensive. I moved to Montana, and I was first introduced to skiing because my friends went, and I tried it, and it turned out that it was the coolest sport I have ever tried.
