The homecoming diagnostic health fair was a great success. I learn about STDs, diabetes, and sickle cell. They also had free testing for sickle cell, diabetes, HIV/ AIDS, and sickle cell. Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) is serious, sometimes painful, and can cause a lot of damage. It spreads during close, sexual activity and during vaginal, anal and oral sex. If you think you had a STD you should go get it checked out immediately. The sign that you need to look for if you are a female is an unusual discharge or smell from your vagina, pain in the pelvic area, burning or itching around your vagina, bleeding from your vagina that is not your period, pain deep inside your vagina when you have sex. The signs that you need to look for if you are a male is a drip or discharge from the penis. Both men and women need to watch for sores or blisters near your sex organs, burning or pain when you urinate, need to urinate often, itchy around your sex organ, a swelling or redness in throat, swelling in the groin.
