Globalization is an extremely influential force that impacts everyone in both developed and developing countries throughout the world. The two main sources used in this essay are, The Race to the Top: The Real Story Of Globalization by Thomas Larsson and “Globalisation and its Critics: A survey of globalization” from the September 21st 2001 edition of The Economist. Both The Race to the Top and The Economist provide many benefits of globalization supporting the ideology that globalization is good for improving many aspects of life, therefore raising the standard of living in all countries. The six areas that the results of globalization benefits are developing countries, developed countries, culture, democracy throughout the world, comparative advantages with companies and countries and the aggregate world economy.
