The book I chose was The Odyssey of Captain Blood by Rafael Sabatini. Peter Blood was a normal doctor in the town of Bridgewater but during the Monmouth Rebellion he was convicted of being a betrayer because he helped to treat the wounded rebel lord. ... Then Captain Blood and his whole crew became pirates and after a couple of years they became some of the most famous pirates in the Caribbean Sea. One early evening a man named Peter Blood was watching the rebels of Monmouth the going out of town to fight any one who could hold a weapon was going. ... But Peter Blood could not only hold a weapon but he was a master in using it, but he was now a doctor so he did not go.
