The Sirrah Desert is a vast, water less, dry desert in the middle of Africa. Trees and water can not be evident for hundreds of miles. However there were many dinosaurs that lived in this place and survived it=s harsh conditions. Denny, a 13-year-old Triceratops dinosaur, was laying in the tan, warm, desert sand waiting for his best friend to meet him. His best friend, Greg, was also 13 years old but he was a Tyrannosaurs Rex dinosaur. Even though these are two very different dinosaurs, they have been best friends since they were born. Denny was a carefree, outgoing, defenseless, and vulnerable dinosaur who relied a lot on his best friend Greg. However Greg was a strong, fierce, and large dinosaur who fought and protected Denny. When Greg finally showed up at their famous meeting spot, he and Denny decided to take a walk since they were really bored. While they were walking, their eyes fell upon a huge ditch in the earth. It looked like a meteor or comet had hit there once before. Since Greg and Denny were very mischievous, they decided to take a look. Once they crawled about 20 feet in, they got really freaked out because there were a lot of old and rotten bones in the bottom of this ditch. Denny and Greg ran back to their home and told their parents about their experience that afternoon. Unlike most parents, they told their young dinos the story of the AX-Tinct Comet of 2000B.C.@ This was very odd because even though many of the parents knew what happened, it was such a devastating experience that they did not want any other dinosaurs to know about it. In 2000 B.C. life on earth was great. Every kind of Dinosaur was roaming everywhere. Earth was peaceful, green, and great. But this all changed when the comet called AX-Tinct@ got knocked out of it=s 20 year orbit around the solar system and crashed into earth. This caused all the plant life, dinosaurs, and any other creatures to become extinct. It was devastating. Only a few microscopic organisms survived and soon developed into dinosaurs. When Greg and Denny heard this story, they were shocked. They were really surprised that a catastrophic event had taken place about 1000 years ago right in their backyard. Weeks went by and Greg and Denny grew more and more interested in this mysterious comet that demolished life on earth a 1000 years ago.
