Critical Evaluation of 'The Pedestrian

Ray Bradbury is an American author who has written many short stories but one of his most famous is ‘The Pedestrian’. ‘The Pedestrian’ is taken from a short story book called ‘The Golden Apple of the Sun’. ‘The Pedestrian’ is set in the year 2053, in a city that is dull, quiet and ruled by machines. The people of this city are a lot like zombies, they only lave their houses to go to work, they never converse with each other even when at home, they just sit and watch their viewing screens, just ignoring everyone around them. However, there is someone in this dull city that isn’t taken in bye all this, his name is Leonard Mead.
