Just-War Principles

The just cause principle says that war is permissible only to confront “a real and certain danger…” This could be applied to 911 by the way that our country has the right to act against terrorism. 911 made us aware of the threat of terrorism and gave us a reason to go to war.
Second, the competent authority principle says that those with responsibility for public order must declare war. In our countries case, the president was who declared war on Iraq. He used his authority to declare war for what he believes is best for the future of America.
