Pop in Latin countries has a quite different definition. Pop is considered a combination of rock and rap in a more pleasant-sounding style. Unlike blues that gives people a sad atmosphere or rock that gives an angry mood, People in the Americas view pop as a joyful and positive style of music. Hispanic pop singers include Ricky Martin, Paulina Rubio, Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony and others.
