The Grading System
Are grades a good thing ? ... Farbers article he proposes to get ride of the current grading system here
in America and convert into what he calls the credit system . ... But because of
the Finn’s educational system he was able to get into college and put his life
into the direction that it needed to be headed to get his life on the right path in
life . ... The teacher in Finland who changed his life around through there no
grading system is a perfect example of this . ... But when students are so focused on just
getting the grade or are so turned of by the whole grading system do they really
learn anything ? ... The education system in this country needs
to be redone over and possibly go into the credit system(3) like Mr. ... Farber proposed a credit system , or no grades at all .
In the credit system all you have to do is meet the requirements for the course
and you get credit for your work that you did in the class . ...
In conclusion I think the educational system in this country has been
