Young Goodman Brown
I think I overall I did not like the story. ...
There were a few parts that I either did not fully understand or wished there were more dialog between Brown and the traveler. ... I just felt like his meeting and dialog with her was hard to follow and confusing when referring to “old Goodman Brown”. ... Was the “dark figure” the traveler Goodman Brown encountered earlier or was it Old Goodman Brown, or someone else all together? ...
Toward the end Goodman Brown encounters the town people when he returned from the forest. ...
It was obvious that Faith had a dream herself prior to Goldman’s trip or somehow a glimpse at what was to happen to Goodman. ... The last paragraph tells us that even though Goodman returned a changed man, and apparently not for the better, he still lived a long life with his loving wife Faith and they went on to have children and grandchildren.
